Wild Orangutans Need Our Help!

Forest fires are sweeping through parts of Borneo placing huge pressure on already endangered populations, causing health problems and threatening some of the most important remaining orangutan habitats.

How are we helping?

Sydney Zoo is donating $5,000 to Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia to sponsor a drone that will be used to locate and track orangutans in fire affected areas allowing for intervention to prevent further losses of wild orangutans.

How can you help?

No matter your circumstances, there’s a way you can help ensure the survival of orangutans in the wild.
