At Sydney Zoo, we recognise that community sports play an important role in bringing people together and creating opportunities for young people. As a leading wildlife destination in Western Sydney, we are proud to support our local communities and offer them support. Each month we receive hundreds of requests from local sporting clubs and whilst we’re unable to support every application, we are committed to engaging with as many organisations as possible.

We see a valuable opportunity, and responsibility to give back to our communities by partnering with local sporting clubs. Through our Sports Awards program, Sydney Zoo aims to support clubs and players by rewarding commitment and sportsmanship.

We welcome applications from a wide range of sporting clubs across Western Sydney and surrounding areas. All submissions are reviewed monthly by our community committee, who aim to support a range of different clubs. Please expect a 4-6 week delay in hearing the outcome of your application, while not all applications will be successful, every request will receive a response, and we welcome re-applications in the future.
