Travel to Rwanda with world-renowned primatologist, Dr. Tara Stoinski, ten thousand feet up in the dense and unforgiving Volcanoes National Park. Follow her lead in documenting the family dynamics of these amazing, majestic and critically-endangered creatures who share 98% of our human DNA.
Deep in the forest, frolicking baby gorillas play under their mother’s watchful eyes. The alpha silverback protects and controls the family as subordinate males vie for leadership. With only 1,000 mountain gorillas left in the world, you’ll be glad you made this strenuous but remarkable trek.
Located on Primate Boulevard, The Gorilla Trek VR Experience runs daily from 10am – 2pm. $9.99 per visitor.
