Are you a parent, friend or teacher of a primary or secondary school student? Simply enter your details and the school and class you want to bring to the zoo below for your chance to WIN an excursion for 30 students (and 3 teachers/supervisors), including lunch, an ice-cream and an exclusive reptile encounter PLUS travel via bus to and from your school!
Terms & Conditions
- The promoter is Sydney Zoo Pty Limited ABN 55 168 970 090 of 700 Great Western Highway, Bungarribee, NSW 2767.
- This competition is a game of chance. No permit is required in NSW as the prize does not exceed applicable regulatory thresholds.
- Entry Restrictions
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or over to be eligible.
- Entrants must be residents of Australia.
- Entrants must be a parent, guardian, teacher, school staff member, or authorised representative entering on behalf of an Australian primary or secondary school class.
- Entrants must not be an employee of Sydney Zoo, Carnival Cruise Line, or an immediate family member of either organisation or any entity associated with this competition.
- Competition opens 12/10/26 at 9:00am AEDT and closes 26/10/26 at 9:00am AEDT. One (1) winner will be randomly selected on 26/10/26 at 10:00am AEDT using a compliant random selection generator. The winner will be contacted by email within five (5) business days of the draw. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that the details in their entry are correct and no responsibility will be taken by Sydney Zoo for any incorrect or out of date information. Entrants must be contactable via email.
- To enter, entrants must complete the competition entry form above.
- One (1) winner will be selected for this competition. The winner will receive:
- One (1) self-guided excursion at Sydney Zoo for 30 students and 3 teachers/supervisors (RRP $540).
- One (1) ice cream voucher per attendee, up to thirty-three (33) attendees (RRP $165).
- Lunch for thirty-three (33) attendees (RRP $825).
- Bus transport to and from Sydney Zoo, arranged by the Promoter, up to a maximum value of $1,500.
- One (1) reptile encounter experience (RRP $396).
Total prize value: $3,426.00 (incl. GST)
- The excursion must be booked and attended during Term 4, 2026, on a date agreed upon by Sydney Zoo and the winning school, subject to availability.
- If a winner is selected and legitimately contacted, no unclaimed prize draw will take place for this competition. In the event a winner does not redeem the prize, the prize is considered issued but remains unredeemed. The Promoter is not liable for reissue or redraw.
- Special Conditions
- Entrants may enter the competition once. Any attempt to enter multiple times will result in the last submitted entry being accepted and all prior entries being void.
- The prize is supplied by Sydney Zoo and is subject to Sydney Zoo's ticket terms and conditions.
- The prize is valid for one primary or secondary school class only and is limited to a maximum of thirty (30) students and three (3) teachers/supervisors.
- Any additional students, teachers or guests beyond the stated inclusions will be at the school's expense and subject to Sydney Zoo's standard booking terms.
- The excursion date must be confirmed with Sydney Zoo and is subject to operational requirements, availability, weather conditions and animal welfare considerations.
- The reptile encounter is subject to animal availability and Sydney Zoo operational requirements.
- The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
- If any prize (or part of any prize) becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions of a relevant regulatory authority.
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
- The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to accept any entry which it considers inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions.
- By entering the promotion, entrants consent to their name and entry details being used by Sydney Zoo and Carnival Cruise Line for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
- By entering this promotion and selecting the option to receive updates, entrants consent to receiving marketing communications from Sydney Zoo and Carnival Cruise Line and may unsubscribe at any time.
- If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated, the Promoter reserves the right, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the promotion.
- All expenses incurred in relation to enjoyment of the prize, other than those expressly included in the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the promotion or use of the prize.
