Hi, I’m Cassidy. I am 11 years old and I have 2 brothers, named Joshua and Samuel. My brothers and I all love to play soccer. I also play Oztag and have been an enthusiast Girl Guide for nearly 5 years.
I love animals and I want to help all that are hurt, endangered or lost. I am super excited to be a Sydney Zoo Mini Zookeeper where I can learn how to care for them all.
It might come as a surprise, but my favourite animals at the zoo are hyenas! I love them because they have a funny laugh, they’re unique and they are fiercely loyal… just like me! I also love the meerkats. They are so busy, cheeky and curious.
At home, we have the cutest pet bunnies in the world! One is named Apple and the other is Reimis. They are so soft, affectionate and inquisitive. I love how their noses twitch and I love watching them bounce about the garden.
When I grow up I want to work in a shelter where I can help the animals that need it most. I want to save the wildlife that have been left homeless or injured from bushfires; as well as stray animals that need extra care, attention and love.
I love visiting Sydney Zoo and getting up close to the animals there. Every time I go, I learn something new and I even know many animals by name. I feel very comfortable at the zoo and I am excited to show my family and friends around.
