Love is in the air at Sydney Zoo in Eastern Creek this Valentine’s Day, with the zoo’s cutest couple celebrating in style.
Saigon and Intan, an otter-ly adorable pair of small clawed otters, enjoyed a romantic ice bath filled with heart and rose-shaped ice cubes—a special arrangement made by zookeepers to ensure an unforgettable Valentine’s Day.
As the otters frolicked and played, their bond was stronger than ever. Beneath the icy surface, a delightful surprise awaited—a fishy treat hidden just for them, enjoyed side by side.
“We wanted to celebrate the love that Saigon and Intan share in a special way,” said Sydney Zoo Exotics Manager, Tim Bennett. “Their playful antics and genuine affection for each other bring so much joy to everyone here at Sydney Zoo.”
