Winter nights in Western Sydney are getting a whole lot brighter! After welcoming more than 100,000 guests last year, GLOW is back for 2026, and this year it’s bigger, bolder, and more immersive than ever before.
Running from 8 May to 14 June, this much loved after-dark experience transforms the zoo into a glowing wonderland of light, sound and atmosphere, offering a whole new way to explore a familiar favourite.
Now in it’s fifth year, GLOW has evolved into one of Sydney’s standout winter events, and 2026 is no exception. At the heart of this year’s event is the Luna Light Journey produced by Laservision, a leader in large-scale light, sound and multimedia installations, drawing on more than 40 years of expertise in transforming outdoor environments and captivating audiences across Australia and globally.

As the sun sets, the zoo comes alive in a breathtaking spectacle of light, sound and colour. Step through the glowing portal, leave the ordinary behind, and experience:

GLOW isn’t just about the lights, it’s a whole night out full of fun for all ages! Along the journey, guests can treat themselves to fun and flavour-packed food offerings, from warm comfort eats, to sweet delights and refreshing drinks perfect for enjoying under the lights.
Be sure to visit the GLOW Zone where the thrills and fun continue. This year, the ride zone is open to everyone, with or without a ticket, meaning guests are welcome to visit night after night and use their ride tokens to enjoy carnival-style rides and games!
