The GLOW Light Walk (in zoo) is open from 5:30pm to 9:30pm and the GLOW Zone is open from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

Yes, complimentary entry is available for a companion or carer. Standard terms of use and entry conditions apply. Please present a valid Companion Card or visit the Information Desk on arrival.

We recommend arriving at your booked session time to ensure smooth parking and entry. Once inside, you may stay for the event duration. Reminder that the GLOW Light Walk will close at 9.30pm each night, and GLOW Zone will remain open until 10pm.
FREE onsite parking is included. Event staff will direct you upon arrival. Please remember we are a 10km/hr site to keep our staff safe.

Certain sections of the zoo will be closed during the event. Tickets include access to the GLOW Light Walk, which is an illuminated path through selected areas of the zoo. This year’s light walk is the biggest yet, and for the first time ever will travel through our Africa precinct and across the boardwalk.
Some outdoor animals may be visible, but sightings cannot be guaranteed. Animal welfare is our priority, and animals have access to their night dens at all times.
GLOW is a night‑time only experience. Some sculptures may be visible during the day, but they will not be illuminated, interactive, or accessible.
Yes, Sydney Zoo is fully wheelchair accessible with no hills or steps.
Please note that some rides in the GLOW ZONE may not be suitable for wheelchair or other mobility aid users. Please speak to Staff within the GLOW Zone to determine rider accessibility and safety requirements. Operator discretion is final.
Pram, mobility scooter and wheelchair hire is available. Pre-booking is strongly recommended by calling 02 7202 2560.
This event may not be suitable for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Some lighting effects may be disruptive.

Yes, umbrellas are permitted and are also available to purchase at GLOW retail outlets.
Tickets are non‑transferable and non‑refundable, in accordance with the conditions of sale.
GLOW is an all-weather event. Refunds are not provided for weather conditions. Guests will be notified if an event is postponed or cancelled.
Access to GLOW Light Walk. Entry to the GLOW Zone is FREE, guests can purchase ride tokens and enjoy rides without a GLOW entry ticket.

No, GLOW is a special ticketed event and is not included with Unlimited Passes.
A redemption code was emailed to you when you purchased your Platinum Pass. Enter this code at checkout to redeem your GLOW ticket.
No, ride tokens are available on site to be purchased separately. You can also add a ride tokens bundle to your online ticket purchase for a discounted price. These are collected at the time of entry.

Yes, you can return on any night and use your ride tokens. Access to the GLOW zone is FREE!
On your event night you will be issued a card with ride tokens pre-loaded to your pre-paid value. You will be able to scan the QR with your phone and add more tokens should you choose to do so.
Scan the QR on the ride tokens card issued to you. You will then be able to use the issued card and/or your phone to redeem tokens on rides. If you elect to share the card or the QR with others, they too will be able to access and use your ride tokens.
See staff inside the GLOW Zone for assistance. Kindly note that ride tokens are redeemed and managed by a third party partner of Sydney Zoo. While our Sydney Zoo team will always make best attempts to assist you, support with ride tokens are best handled by the GLOW Zone team on site.
With the exception of prams and strollers for young patrons and disability aids for patrons with disabilities, patrons may not use mobility devices in, or within the vicinity of, Sydney Zoo, including bicycles, scooters, skateboards, trolleys or similar. Further prohibited items are included but not limited to balls, glitter, confetti, and balloons. Management discretion applies at all times with animal welfare and visitor safety paramount at all times.
Yes, GLOW is an all-ages event. Kids under 3 enjoy complimentary entry and do not require a ticket.

Yes, while we have some amazing food on offer throughout the event, you are welcome to bring your own food. Please note, guests are not permitted to cook food onsite (with or without power), any guests that choose to do so will be asked to cease and/or leave the zoo. Alcohol is strictly prohibited from being brought into GLOW. There are select licenced areas where alcohol can be bought and consumed adhering to NSW RSA requirements.
Photo and video shoots may occur throughout the duration of the event. By attending GLOW you are agreeing to Sydney Zoo using any film or photography during your visit for any promotion, advertising or marketing in any form or style determined by Sydney Zoo without the need to obtain any further permissions. By attending the event, you waive all rights you have to any claims for payment or royalties.
