Teachers, come to Sydney Zoo with free entry for you and a guest!
On Wednesday 8th October 2025, Sydney Zoo is offering the opportunity for teachers to spend the day enjoying the zoo.
Get the chance to attend an exclusive behind the scenes and meet some of our education ambassador animals.
Chat to our education team between 10am and 1pm at The Hollow about our programs and facilities, and how we can provide more for you, your students and your families.
Free entry is valid for all early childhood, primary, secondary and support teachers and pre-service teachers plus one free guest. You will need to provide evidence of enrolment in an education course, your NESA accreditation or proof of employment in the industry upon arrival at Sydney Zoo. Your plus one must check in with you.
Tickets are strictly limited and you must be registered online – no redemption of the offer will be given at the gate. You will receive a confirmation email, if you receive a waitlist email, this means we have reached capacity, but will be in contact if tickets become available.

If you wish to bring additional guests, tickets can be purchased online.
*To sign up to the behind the scenes opportunity please make your way to The Hollow when you arrive. There will be sign up sheets for 4 time slots. There are strictly limited spaces so arrive early to ensure your spot. Families are welcome to sign up, but participants must be aged 8 and above.
