Sydney Zoo will be closed to the public, including pass holders on Sunday 24 November & Wednesday 4 December, 2024.

We're open every day!

The safety of our visitors, staff and animals is our top priority. As a predominantly outdoor venue with plenty of space and fresh air, Sydney Zoo is a low-risk place to enjoy with your family and friends. We have increased our safety measures to provide a safe space for all.

We regulate the number of guests entering the zoo every hour.  We prefer our members and guests to pre-book a ticket either online or by contacting our team if you require assistance.  We suggest planning your visit and booking ahead to avoid missing out.

See our FAQs below when planning a visit;
