Pick the right session time
If you’ve got older kids, consider booking a later session. The early time slots tend to be busiest as families with younger children arrive right when gates open. Later entry can mean shorter lines and a more relaxed start to your night.
Book ahead
GLOW sessions can sell out quickly, especially on weekends. Lock in your tickets early to avoid missing out. If you’re after a quieter experience, midweek sessions are your best bet.
Dress for the night
Evenings in Western Sydney can get chilly, make sure you check the weather on the night and come prepared, think jackets, hoodies, and comfy shoes for walking.
Take your time on the Light Walk
This year’s Light walk - A Luna Light Journey produced by Laservision, is more immersive and interactive than ever. Throughout the experience kids will be able to press buttons that trigger light and sound displays, step into projection zones that react to movement, follow trails and tracks through the zoo, and engage with storytelling moments woven into the journey. We recommend allowing 1.5-2 hours to get the most out of the experience with younger kids.
Don’t miss the GLOW Zone
Once you’ve explored the Light Walk, keep the fun going in the GLOW Zone, it’s the ultimate way to end your night on a high. This year entry to the GLOW Zone is FREE for everyone, no entry ticket needed, so you can come back night after night! Rides are pay-to-play but if you find yourself with tokens left over, you can come back again so they won’t go to waste!
